wonderful polished brass wall lights, Model 10630, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Louis Poulsen, 1940. The unlacquered brass body holds an opaline glass shade, offering a soft, diffuse light. (glass shades of the two available examples differ minimally in shape and hue), wired for US standards, one E26 socket per fixture, max. wattage 60w each or LED equivalent. Architect Vilhelm Lauritzen (1894-1984) designed these lights in 1931 for the Broadcasting House (Radiohuset) in Copenhagen.
