NewWonderful three-seat sofa model no. 2253, designed by Børge Mogensen in 1963 and produced by Frederica Stolefabrik, Denmark, in original salmon colored wool with leather straps on an oak wood frame, marked.
Provenance: private collection of Børge Mogensen furniture from the estate of Lennart and Barbro Nork. Mr Nork was the founder and owner of Talavid Inredningar AB in Sweden and had worked closely with the iconic designer Børge Mogensen for many years. The two became close friends and Mogensen was very involved in the planning of an extension that was made to the Nork family home in Bankeryd in the 60s. The architect was Arne Karlsen and the extension was designed specifically for furniture and interiors by Mogensen.

Christensen, Silkeborg, in Denmark, 1960, consisting of two armchairs, a three-seater sofa (with additional possible configurations) and a coffee table with oak frames, and back and sides pieces in French wicker. The loose cushions are upholstered in light striped wool fabric, marked.
