$7,400.00wonderful Paimio armchair 41 by Alvar Aalto for Artek, Finland, in natural birch wood with black bentwood seat with venting slots. The laminated birch frame is bent into a closed curve with solid birch cross-rails. Molded from a continuous piece of spring birch plywood on a closed frame, the Paimio Chair was Aalto’s design for making a wooden chair “soft”. This piece is in good condition with some signs of usage.

Out of Stockwonderful cognac colored aniline leather 3-seater from the “Togo” series, designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset, France, 1973. This piece has been professionally reupholstered at some point, but retains the Ligne Roset original fabric lining on the bottom and signed label. The “Togo” series quickly became an iconic aspect of early 1970s French design. Great design detailing with stitched seams and buttons, the aniline leather is very soft and shows no damages.

$7,400.00wonderful daybed model no. 190, designed by Børge Mogensen in 1963 and produced by Frederica Stolefabrik, Denmark, solid oak frame platform with tapered legs and a vertical slatted back. The back is attached to the base with dowels across the platform and secured by black steel braces on each end, original fully sprung cushions, tufted, in original sepia colored wool, marked.
Provenance: private collection of Børge Mogensen furniture from the estate of Lennart and Barbro Nork. Mr. Nork was the founder and owner of Talavid Inredningar AB in Sweden and had worked closely with the iconic designer Børge Mogensen for many years. The two became close friends and Mogensen was very involved in the planning of an extension that was made to the Nork family home in Bankeryd in the 60s. The architect was Arne Karlsen and the extension was designed specifically for furniture and interiors by Mogensen.
